Global Advisory Graduate Programme
Our Graduate Programme has been specifically designed to offer analysts a broad exposure to different projects and sectors within our M&A and debt & restructuring teams. As an Analyst your responsibilities will be to:
-Research the industries in which our clients operate to support senior bankers’ marketing initiatives, including contributing content to pitch books
-Develop and maintain standard or bespoke financial models under guidance from senior bankers in your team
-Use a range of valuation techniques to support the advice provided to clients including discounted cash flows, trading comps analysis, transaction comps analysis, LBO-based and other valuation approaches
-Support the team in coordinating the transaction process internally and by liaising with clients, their counterparties and other advisers
-Develop your relationship skills through client contact and exposure to senior bankers.
All graduates attend the Global Graduate Training Programme prior to joining their respective teams. This programme provides unrivalled training in the financial concepts you will need to be successful in your team, as well as key personal skills such as communication, personal effectiveness and team building. As you will be undertaking the training alongside graduates from a number of countries around the world, there will also be many opportunities to build your global network. Those who have not studied finance previously will be given all the support necessary to hit the ground running when they join their teams.

Our Equity Advisory team is looking to recruit graduates as part of the wider Graduate Programme. The team is a key pillar of our Global Advisory business and is the market leading equity advisory team globally. Please see further details below:
-It has been an independent adviser on over 430 equity offerings since 2009 with a combined deal value of over €390 billion, across the full spectrum of IPOs and other equity offerings
-Work is heavily skewed towards transactions rather than pitching, with a strong pipeline of deals
-The team works closely with the M&A sector teams and our market-leading debt advisory team
-It’s close to the equity markets, advising on valuation, tactics, execution and implementation
Recent landmark transactions include:
-IPOs of AIB (€3.4bn), Innogy (€5bn), DONG Energy (€2.6bn), ABN AMRO (€3.8bn)
-The world’s largest ever IPO – Alibaba ($25bn)
-The world’s largest ever auctioned block trade – Vodafone / China Mobile ($6.6bn)
-Largest ever European Corporate Mandatory Convertible Note – Bayer (€4.0bn)
Graduates can expect significant exposure to clients from an early stage so strong communication skills are important. All graduates attend the Global Graduate Training Programme prior to joining their respective teams. Our GA Summer Internship is a 10 week programme aimed at students in their penultimate year of university. The programme begins with an intensive training programme covering technical skills (accounting, valuation, and modelling) and internally led presentations. After the training, you will join one of our M&A or debt & restructuring teams for the remainder of the internship.
If your internship goes well, you will be considered for a place on the following year's Graduate Programme.
This programme is available in our Birmingham, Leeds, London and Manchester offices.

Private Wealth Summer Internship
Our Private Wealth summer internship is a 10 week programme aimed at students in their penultimate year of university or recent graduates. The programme begins with an intensive training programme followed by two rotations, one with the Private Clients team and one with the Investment team.
Successful candidates will be considered for any current or future roles that may arise after the internship.

Human Resources Summer Internship
The Human Resources department is an important division at Rothschild & Co, as our people are key to our present success and future growth. After the initial training, you will get the opportunity to complete a number of rotations across the HR department in London to see how each team operates and contributes to the success of the business. You will also have the opportunity to attend a number of networking events with the rest of the Summer Intern class.

Spring Insight Programme
Our Spring Insight Programme is designed for students in their first year of university (or second year if completing a four year course) who are considering a career in financial advisory.
The programme, centred on our Global Advisory division, will serve as an introduction to our M&A, debt and restructuring and equity advisory businesses, giving you a valuable insight into life as a banker at Rothschild.
During the programme, you will have the opportunity to experience the working environment by spending time shadowing junior bankers, as well as taking part in informative skills sessions, listening to presentations and networking with senior bankers. We also run tours of our historical archives so that students can see for themselves how our success across two centuries has been shaped by the involvement of the Rothschild family, and how our business model makes us truly unique.
Strong candidates will also be offered the opportunity to go through a fast track assessment process for the folllowing year's Summer Internship Programme.
