(1) / Charlotte Rodger – Charlotte has been enthusiastic and engaged in her learning this week. She confidently shared her knowledge of number bonds and the whole part model.
Peter Doherty – Peter has impressed both Miss Moverley and Mr Johnson with his amazing writing skills this week. He used lots of different writing techniques and produced a wonderful version of Goldilocks and the three bears.
Jake Farrell – Jake has been working more independently in all of his learning this week. He completed some tricky Maths and some great writing.
Dormice
(2) / Well done to all of Dormice class for their amazing imaginations and story planning! This week Indie Attwell, Daisy Thomas and Sophie Jefferies have excelled themselves with their detailed retelling of our story.Tom Davies showed resilience and determination in his writing ensuring he was accurate. They have remembered to use all the different skills we have been practising. Fantastic!
Dolphins
(3) / William Moules – This week William has impressed Miss Bennett and Mrs Joel whilst working on his Shadow theatre. William has shown fantastic engagement and enthusiasm and has collaborated well in a team. He has offered others support and has been a great friend by showing kindness whilst working in a pair.
Abigail Carter – Abigail has been working hard for the past couple of weeks on our Biographies in English. This week Abigail has incorporated all the skills and features that we have been looking at and has produced a brilliant Gingerbread man biography.
Sienna Wright – This week Sienna has shown her creative flare. Sienna has been resourceful and has used variety of materials to construct her shadow theatre.
She has had some fantastic ideas and has collaborated and communicated well with other children in class.
Turtles
(4) / Ella Andrews – When making our shadow theatres this week, Ella worked tirelessly to make sure she follows through on her plan. She used a range of materials and joining techniques to create a beautiful theatre and Miss Mitchell looks forward to seeing the show she creates using it.
Alfie Brown – Alfie has impressed all adults in the class with his determination, enthusiasm and perseverance recently. In all lessons, he is ‘having a go’ at new challenges, sharing his ideas and just generally being fab! Keep it up Alfie.
LatiyaMasey – Latiya has shown great engagement and enthusiasm this week as we have started our new fiction unit. When looking at subordinate clauses, Latiya thought carefully about her sentences and made sure she included different conjunctions in each one. Well Done Latiya!
Pandas
(5) / Savannah Booth, Toju-Akin Olamiti, Alice Dakinand - For your wonderful stories that you have written. You have worked so hard to improve your writing and madeit exciting for Miss Ridout to read. Shehasthoroughly enjoyed reading your stories.What wonderful authors you are!
Elephants
(6) / This week, everyone in Elephants class have worked exceptionally hard to put together their fantastic assembly as well as doing all of their usual brilliant learning. Although everyone was truly amazing, there are some children who worked particularly hard.
Alfie Riley, Alex McQuillan, Jayden Engmannand Josh Doyle – during your assembly rehearsals this week you have all been fantastic sports. You have delivered your lines fluently, having learnt them well. Your rapping skills were also brilliant, making everyone laugh and getting the point across enthusiastically.
