Stratus ADS-B Receiver Construction

The process for building a Stratus is very straightforward. Purchase the components, load the appropriate software on the SD card and mate with an appropriate tablet or smart phone and associated aviation software. I used ForeFlight on my iPad but the references below will detail many other possibilities. Have fun and good luck!

Recommended change

The Raspberry Pi is voltage sensitive and really likes 5 VDC. The Kmashi battery does not supply sufficient voltage. As others have suggested, I found the Anker Astro battery to perform better. It is a few dollars more but worth the difference, in my opinion.
