IN SCHOOL CURRICULAR EVENTS FOR SPORT DURING FEBRUARY
P3 and P4 / Determined to Dance/ Dance Coaching commenced on Monday 11th January for 6 weeks for our P3 and P4 pupils.
P6 / Swimming / Swimming lessons for P6 pupils commenced on Tuesday
24th January this will run until the end of March.
P5 / Table Tennis / Students from Langside College will be coaching table tennis with P5 pupils on Tuesday 16th February, 23rd February and 2nd March. There will also be a Table Tennis Tournament for the pupils to participate in at Langside College on Monday 6th March. Information regarding the Tournament will be sent out to P5 parents nearer the time.
P4 / Gaelic Football / Gaelic Fooball commenced on Friday 27th January for P4
Pupils – this will run until 10th March.
IN SCHOOL CURRICULUM EVENTS
Royal Conservatoire College StudentsThursday and Friday until 24th March / Our Music Students will be returning this term to teach and inspire Music to their assigned classes.( all classes with the exception of P3 and P4 who will continue to work with our Youth Music Tutor.)
CONCERT*** / Parents are welcome to join us, both to celebrate our Feast Day and to enjoy a concert to celebrate the term’s work on FRIDAY 24th MARCH from 1-2pm
P6 and P7 / P6 and 7 will benefit from 3 sessions In March on Internet Safety with the use of a toolkit exploring keeping safe online.
INTERNET SAFETY _TALK FOR PARENTS
AFTER SCHOOL EVENTS IN FEBRUARY
/ Wednesdays 3 - 4.30pm / After school gymnastics commenced on Wednesday 11th January.From 3.00 pm – 4.30 pm. This will run for the next four weeks and the pupils will thereafter have the opportunity to participate in a gymnastics competition.
After School Dance / Mondays 3 - 4pm / After School Dance commenced on Monday 16th January for P3 & P4 pupils.
After School Recorder
/ Wednesdays 3 -4 pm / Mrs McKirdy reports that the recorder group are progressing well, with 2 pupils currently preparing to play at the Glasgow Music Festival which will be on the first 2 weeks of March (TBC).
If any P4 – P7 pupils are interested in joining the recorder group please contact the school office.
After School Athletics / Mondays 3 – 4 pm / After School Athletics will commence on Monday 27th February for 5 weeks from
3.00 pm – 4.00 pm. Letters have been sent out to P4 – P7. Due to limited numbers this will be on a first come first served basis.
FORTHCOMING TRIPS THIS TERM
After school gymnastic pupils will be attending Bellahouston Sport centreon Wednesday 8th February for Gymnastic competition.
