FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

WELCOME MESSAGE

Dear Colleagues and Dear Guests,

It is my great honour and pleasure, on behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Congress, to invite you to take part on the Fourth Congress of Physiatrists of the Republic of Macedonia with international participation, which will be held on September 12-15, 2018 in Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia.

The Congress has an important role to contribute in promoting the most advanced and novel therapeutic procedures and implementation of recently adopted evaluation and functional classifications, and promoting and stimulating scientific and research work in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Official languages of the Congress are Macedonian and English.

GUIDELINES TO AUTHORS

  • Works will be presented orally or as posters;
  • For oral presentations of the invited speakers provided exposure time is up to 20 minutes.
  • For oral presentations in sessions, provided time of exposure is up to 10 minutes.
  • For poster presentations provided exposure time is 5 minutes.
  • Invited speakers should send their work as extended abstract.
  • Confirmation of receipt and acceptance of your summary, and mode of presentation (oral or poster presentations) will be sent to your e-mail address.

GUIDELINES FOR WRITING AND SENDING SUMMARIES

  • A summary should be written in one of the official languages of the Congress-Macedonian or English;
  • Specify the method of presentation
  • A summary should be sent by e-mail: as a Word document attached (attachment) with the title consisting of an author’s surname and initial of his/her name
  • A summary should contain a maximum of 200 words in general, 12 font, Arial, line spacing first;
  • Extended abstract should contain a maximum of 400 words in general, 12 font, Arial, line spacing first;
  • It is not allowed to use images and tables;
  • Title of abstract with bold capital letters, Font 12, Arial;
  • Write surname and initial of the name of an author and all co-authors (maximum of 5), without any title;
  • In the first line write an institution/s, city and country of the author and co-authors. If there are more of them, to each author(after the name) and institution (before the title) mark the appropriate number in superscript;
  • Provide e-mail address below institution;
  • Put a blank line between the text and the names of institutions;
  • A summary should be structured: introduction, aim, material and methods, results, conclusion and up to 5 keywords
  • Abstract for case report should be structured: introduction, case report, conclusion and up to 5 keywords
  • Extended abstract should be structured: introduction, aim, material and methods, results, conclusion, references (up to 5) and up to 5 keywords
  • Original summary will not be edited; linguistic accuracy is the responsibility of an author.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARATION AND POSTER PRESENTATION

  • Poster dimension: Height 100 cm, width 70 cm.
  • Preparation of posters: All posters must be in one of the official languages of the Congress.
  • Elements of posters: the text, pictures, tables, graphics, must be clearly readable from a distance of 1,5 m;
  • Posters will be displayed in exhibition area.
