STUDENT PROJECT TEAM REGISTRATION

1) Google Lunar XPrize: Team GLXP

3) Competition sponsored by Google, to be completed prior to Dec 31, 2012.
4) Space and Resource Requirements
a) Team meetings usually occur is Link Multi-Media Room (Library). Prototype space will be required in the Physics Dept High Bay.
b) Multi Media Room Access is easy to attain, High Bay floor space has not been approved yet. However team members Ben Burnett (Grad Student) and Paul Martin (Post Doc) have contacts in the Physical Science Department
c) We will require AGI’s STK Astrogator (free academic license), ProE, ANSYS, MatLab
d) Multi-disciplinary involvement from professors, grad, and undergrad students as well as industry assistance will be needed to design mission plan to satisfy GLXP requirements
5) Anticipated Travel
Travel not anticipated for 2008-2009 school year. Local excursions possible but unscheduled as yet.
