Region 1 Tribal Resources Database
Emergency Management & Emergency Preparedness
The following pages are tables of resources that would be used and/or useful during a declared emergency. Please note that this serves only as a beginning and can be added to and updated as needed. The database should continually be updated on a regular schedule, at least quarterly, to ensure accurate information is available during times of disaster or emergency.
This document was created in word using tables for ease of use and updating. To add a line or row to a table to add inventory a resource please refer to the last page for a step by step guide, if needed.
Additionally this document is set up in two parts; the first is a database of resources that would likely be available to a tribal government and be used in a disaster situation. The second part is a resource database based on the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Resources Management Guidelines as published in the Resource Typing publication #507, 508-1, et al on the www.fema.gov/emergency/nims/mutual_aid.shtm website. These resources are based on the Resource Typing effort by the Department of Homeland Security as directed by HSPD 5 & 8.
This database is only of Tribal resources and is as current as the information entered. External partners and their resource database should be included as an addendum or appendix to this document. The external resources database should those resources that are needed in your jurisdiction in times of disaster.
