Job Title: Head of Market Support

Department: Global Supply Chain

Reports to: Director, Global Supply Chain

Number of Reports: c.5

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Lead a team of Market Support Managers providing full supply chain support to the commercial managers ensuring that they are fully informed at all times on all aspects of supply for their region.

Accountable for, and ownership of, customer service to the Global Markets through management of cross functional activities to drive through the resolution of all and any hurdles to the supply of product.

Lead the S&OP process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure self and team are :-

·  Driving continuous improvement in product availability

·  Fully briefed at all times on supply status for the region

·  Acting as “Regional champions” within Global Operations and being personally accountable for service.

·  Chasing through the resolution of issues within GOPs that otherwise will prevent or delay supply

·  Facilitating appropriate cross functional meetings to discuss and agree actions and maintain momentum in the resolution of supply delays.

·  Contributing innovative ideas to resolve supply issues

·  Owning the end to end provision of service

·  Providing proactive communication to the Commercial managers through daily contact and appraising them of updates and progress.

·  Providing information in the form of common formatted reports, and reference narratives.

·  Single Point Of Contacts in GOPs for the commercial manager. (SPOCs)

·  Managing S&OP process for own region and leading S&OP meetings

·  Building rapport a working relationships with the Regional Commercial Managers

·  Understanding the market forecasts and demands

·  aware of market initiatives such as promotions, stock-ins, etc.

·  Familiar with customer nuances

Qualifications:
Degree educated
Specialisation in Supply Chain Management / ü

At least 5 years’ management experience working in Pharmaceutical supply chain environment / ü
