- Explain the importance of a mole conversion in chemistry
- Utilize mole ratio and molar mass to calculate the amounts of reactants and products in a chemical reaction.
- Understand the laws governing the properties of a gas, the Kinetic Molecular Theory (KMT), define the relationship between the temperature in kelvins and the average kinetic energy of particles.
- Answer the essential questions by applying their knowledge of gas laws and calculate a value for an unknown gas by using the ideal gas law.
OBJECTIVE / Students will continue to practice stoichiometry while also applying the concepts of limiting reagents and percent yield.
Students will be able to describe the relationship between volume and temp through Charles law. / Students will continue to practice stoichiometry while also applying the concepts of limiting reagents and percent yield.
