WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
CALL TO WORSHIP
Psalm 84:1-2, 10-12
Leader: How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD of hosts!
All: My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the LORD; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God.
Leader: For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere.
All: I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Leader: For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.
All: O LORD of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you!
PRAYER OF ADORATION
HYMNS OF ADORATION
Hallelujah, Praise Jehovah
Music: Darwin Jordan
Hallelujah, praise Jehovah, O my soul, Jehovah praise; I will sing the glorious praises of my God through all my days. Put no confidence in princes, nor for help on man depend; He shall die, to dust returning, and his purposes shall end.
Happy is the man that chooses Israel's God to be his aid;
He is blest whose hope of blessing on the Lord his God is stayed. Heaven and earth the Lord created, seas and all that they contain; He delivers from oppression, righteousness He will maintain.
Food He daily gives the hungry, sets the mourning prisoner free, raises those bowed down with anguish, makes the sightless eyes to see, well Jehovah loves the righteous, and the
stranger He befriends, helps the fatherless and widow,
judgment on the wicked sends.
Hallelujah, praise Jehovah, O my soul, Jehovah praise; I will sing the glorious praises of my God through all my days. Over all God reigns forever, through all ages He is King;
unto Him, thy God, O Zion, joyful hallelujahs sing.
Jesus, the Lord, My Savior Is
Music: Sandra McCracken
Jesus, the Lord, my Savior is, my Shepherd, and my God; my light, my strength, my joy, my bliss and I His grace record.
Whate’er I need in Jesus dwells, and there it dwells for me;
‘tis Christ my earthen vessel fills with treasures rich and free.
Chorus: Mercy and truth and righteousness, and peace,
most richly meet in Jesus Christ, the King of grace,
in Whom I stand complete.
As through the wilderness I roam, His mercies I’ll proclaim;
and when I safely reach my home, I’ll still adore His name.
‘Worthy the Lamb,’ shall be my song, ‘For He for me was slain;’ and me with all the heavenly throng shall join,
and say, ‘Amen.’ Chorus
Jesus, the Lord, my Savior is, my Shepherd, and my God;
my light, my strength, my joy, my bliss;
and I His grace record.
CONFESSION OF SIN
Father, you give us every good thing. Yet instead of responding with gratitude toward you and generosity toward others, we have simply wanted more. We have trusted in our riches, we have built up false walls of security, and we have cared more about our concerns than your Kingdom. Forgive our misplaced affections. Forgive our concern over the wrong things. Grant that we would find help and hope in Christ who came to redeem us by His death and resurrection. Help us see with new eyes by your Spirit. We pray in Christ’s name, Amen.
SILENT CONFESSION OF SIN
ASSURANCE OF PARDON
John 10:10-11
HYMN OF PARDON
All I Have Is Christ
Music and Lyrics: Sovereign Grace Music
I once was lost in darkest night, yet thought I knew the way;
the sin that promised joy and life, had led me to the grave.
I had no hope that You would own, a rebel to Your will;
and if You had not loved me first, I would refuse You still.
But as I ran my hell-bound race, indifferent to the cost;
You looked upon my helpless state, and led me to the cross.
And I beheld God’s love displayed, You suffered in my place;
You bore the wrath reserved for me, now all I know is grace.
Chorus: Hallelujah! All I have is Christ
Hallelujah! Jesus is my life
Now, Lord, I would be Yours alone, and live so all might see;
the strength to follow Your commands, could never come from me. Oh Father, use my ransomed life, in any way You choose; and let my song forever be, my only boast is You.
Chorus (2x)

THE SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S SUPPER
We welcome all Christians who are trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, who have been baptized, and who are identified appropriately with a congregation that proclaims the gospel, to participate in the Lord’s Supper. Children who have been examined by the elders and admitted to the Lord’s Table are also invited to partake of this Sacrament. If you are not a Christian, or you are not prepared to share in this sacrament, we encourage you to spend this time in prayer, reflecting on your need for God’s mercy and on his gracious provision of a sin-bearing Savior,
the Lord Jesus Christ.
HYMN OF RESPONSE
Come Ye Souls, By Sin Afflicted
Music: Kevin Twit
Come ye souls by, sin afflicted, bowed with fruitless, sorrow down; by the broken, law convicted, through the cross, behold the crown; look to Jesus; Look to Jesus; Look to Jesus; mercy flows through Him alone.
Take His easy, yoke and wear it; love will make your, obedience sweet; Christ will give you, strength to bear it,
while His grace, shall guide your feet safe to glory, safe to glory, safe to glory, where His ransomed captives meet.
Blessed are the, eyes that see Him, blest the ears that, hear His voice; blessed are the, souls that trust Him, and in Him, alone rejoice; His commandments, His commandments, His commandments then become their happy choice.
Sweet as home to, pilgrims weary, light to newly, opened eyes, like full springs in, deserts dreary, is the rest, the cross supplies; all who taste it, all who taste it, all who taste it
shall to rest immortal rise. Look to Jesus; look to Jesus; look to Jesus; mercy flows through Him alone.
