Lviv – Ternopil – Ivano-Frankivsk - Yaremche - Lviv
DAY 1: Arrival in Lviv. Go on a guided bus tour of the city with the stops at the High Castle Hill, St.George Cathedral, the Lviv Polytechnic and IvanFrankoUniversitiesdirectly from the airport. Hotel check in. Lunch in the restaurant with delicious Lviv cuisine will be a real pleasure.Tour of the Lviv Opera and Ballet House (designed by the famous Austrian architect, Z. Gorgolewski) will amaze you. Performance at the theatre (optional). Dinnerwill be arranged at the hotel or on your own (optional).
DAY 2: Breakfast. Start on a walking tour of the OldCity. See monuments of architecture from the XIV to the XVIII centuries:Market Place, City Hall, the Latin Cathedral, the Armenian Quarter and mystic murals of the Cathedral, the PharmacyMuseum and the amazing Boims’ Chapel, Orthodox Quarter.Lunch in the bear restaurant in the ancient underground Brewery will guest you with the traditional local food and famous fresh beer.After lunch, you are invited to the open-air Museum of Folk Architecture(wooden old mills, farmstead and churches). Dinner will be waiting for you in a restaurant with the popular classical music (optional).
DAY 3: Breakfast. Departure for Ternopil. On the way, there will be a stop and excursion to Pochayiv Monastery –one of the sanctuaries of the Orthodox Church with unique Baroque architecture. We invite you to take part in the short tour of the city ofTernopil.Tasty lunchin Ternopil will add you energy. Then you’ll leave forIvano-Frankivsk. Hotel check in. Short tour of the city of Ivano-Frankivsk will be very interesting. Dinner in the hotel restaurant with the entertainment folk programme will enjoy you(optional).
DAY 4: Breakfast. You’ll go to Yaremche - one of the oldest towns in the Carpathian Mountains. On the way,you’ll stop in Kolomyya and visit uniqueMuseum of Pysanka (Easter Egg). After arrival to Yaremche,trip to the beautiful Carpathian waterfalls and the Hutsul Market (ceramics, embroidery, woodcarvings and rug work) anddinner in a regional restaurant with live Hutsulmusicand games will make you fall in love with the picturesque region.
DAY 6: Departure for Lviv. On the way,you’ll stop in Grushiv to see the St. Mykhaylo Church (circa 1715) where you will have a look at the miraculous icon of the Holy Virgin. Next, through Drohobych you’ll get to the Truskavets Resort. A tour of the Spa as well as the tasting of the beneficial water in Rixos Spa centre will be a new pleasant experience.After lunch and walk in Truskavets you’ll return toLviv.After hotel check in,dinner in one of the funny centre restaurantswill be really unforgettable! (optional).
DAY 7: Breakfast. We’ll invite you to the famous Lviv Museums (18 upon your choice). Free time for shopping at the Market of Regional Masters (wood works, national costumes, carvings…) and famous antique shops will be also a great pleasure.Good-bye dinner with music and dances in the national restaurant will end the program.
DAY 8: Breakfast. Departure.
