day is on April 30th and Mrs. Jone’s is May 3rd. I hope each of you has a special day!
Music Program – As you know, the Spring Music Concert is on Monday, April 28rh. Please remember
my memo of Thursday, April 24th. There is to be no homework assigned on Monday evening and no tests scheduled for Tuesday.
Homework – When assigning homework, keep in mind the “10 minute rule.” The “10 minute rule”
states that students should not have more than their grade level times 10 minutes of homework a night .
For example, 1st Graders should have 10 minutes, 2nd Graders 20 minutes, and so on. For students in Grades 5 through 8, this means that their teachers will need to coordinate how much homework is assigned each night so that the total amount of time does not exceed the “10 minute rule”.
RtI – I e-mailed everyone a copy of the ASPIRE North April newsletter. This newsletter has
RtI info in it. There is also a copy of the newsletter in the Teacher’s Lounge.
Junior High hallway – I am asking the Junior High hallway teachers to keep their doors either completely shut or completely open. One of the Jr. High students hit her forehead on one of the
