Seminar
Each student must present a frontier research article OR a Review article in the classs through the end of the semester. There should be 5 speakers for each week. The date of presentations depends on the number of students attending the class so that the dates are announced to be later. Time duration of presentation is nearly 30 min. The presentations shorter than 25 min is not acceptable. A set of representative topics are listed below. This list can be extended according to your research topic.
Representative Topics
1- Carbon Nanostructures: Nanotubes, Buckyballs, Fullorenes (Book Chapter from Owens)
2- Polymer Nanocomposites: Going beyond Nanoparticle Filled Polymers (Review by Vaia Chem. Mater. 2007,19, 2736.)
3- Block Copolymer Nanocomposites (Review of MR Bockstaller et al, Adv. Mater. 2005)
