Promotion test dates:

March 9th , 1:00 PM, Little Canada. SIGN UP deadline, March 1st.

May 18th,1:00 PM, St. Louis Park. SIGN UP deadline, May 5th.

Shiai: April 19th , Regional USJA, St. Paul location. More info coming.

Clinic: April 20th, Lynne Roethke, Olympian. Same venue as shiai above.

Demonstration: February 28th at 1pm. Christina O’Brien will be holding this demonstration at her daughter’s school in Norwood Young America . All juniors interested in participating should contact Christina at Christina_ for details. (If copying, note underscore at Christina_bunny) Transportation will be available from St. Louis Park at 11:30. Minors attending who are not using parental transportation to the actual demonstration venue and back must sign waiver to attend.

General Announcements

Kata Practice: Now, through April 6th - Sundays, 4:00 to 5:00 PM, at St. Louis Park, Michelle Holtze and Christina O’Brien will be having their own Nage no Kata practice, and students, who wish to watch, or use the mat area not in use by them for kata practice, may do so. NO INSTRUCTION WILL BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS. This is the sensei’s practice for national competition and they are making the time and space available for your benefit. Whatever amount of space is needed by the senseis for their practice is designated to them. Additional space is for student use.

NO PRACTICE ON MARCH 9TH, OR ON EASTER SUNDAY.

More Kata Practice: Michelle and Kathy Buys will be doing Ju no Kata training at Little Canada on February 1st, 4th, 8th, and 11th. Same restrictions.
