Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Bell Helicopter presented their company stances on this issue. It was determined that no new questions needed to be added to the checklist as all of the subscribing voting member’s material specifications are silent.

A discussion was had that this is something that the primes need to address, but unless the manufacturer of the material is violating a machine drawing, PCD or internal requirement, then they are within their contractual allowance.

Motion Made to take to the open meeting to discuss with suppliers. Motion passed. Votes: 12 green, 2 red and 2 yellow

9.0  Open discussion – Closed

AC7118 Job Audit Matrix Flag Note 2 was discussed concerning whether it should be revised for improved clarity. It was decided that it was fine, but the auditors needed to be trained on it again.

ACTION ITEM: PRI to add Flag Note 2 from AC7118 Job Audit Matrix to October 2016 Auditor Conference agenda. (Due Date 1-Oct-2016)

Auditors had questioned if 15a and 15b (Core Processing) should count as 2 job audits or as 10 job audits (each subsection counting as a separate job audit). Task Group intent is 15a counts as one job audit and 15b as the second. It was decided to determine how much of a problem this is for the auditor’s time-wise, prior to considering revising requirement.

Action Item: PRI to survey COMP auditors concerning time constraints conducting 15a & 15b job audits on Core Processing-only audits and report out in London, June 2016. (Due Date: 31-May-2016)

Task Group Succession Planning- Volunteer requested to serve as vice chairperson from October 2017-October 2019 and then chair from October 2019-October 2021. Richard Perrett (GKN) was nominated. Vote will be held in open meeting.
