Senior Manager / Manager (Planning and Projects) (Ref. 17122701-E3)
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) support the Head of Office for setting the overall direction of the office and planning its implementation, including but not limited to the goals and objectives set-up, and the development of policies, pledges and guidelines, to ensure the achievement of key performance indicators;
(b) develop and lead major and special projects for the office’s sustainable development;
(c) plan and prepare triennial budget estimates and to ensure teams and resources are focused in alignment with the key goals and objectives;
(d) take charge of the assurance of quality and the enhancement of working processes for the office;
(e) prepare and compile regular executive and management reports; and
(f) perform other duties as assigned by the Head of the Office or his/her delegates.
He/She will be required to work on irregular hours and on Sundays/public holidays.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognised degree plus at least eight years of relevant post-qualification working experience at supervisory level;
(b) be strategic and forward looking;
(c) possess outstanding leadership, good planning, organizational and multi-tasking skills;
(d) have practical experience in budgetary planning and control, financial and manpower management;
(e) be highly self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure in meeting deadlines; and
(f) have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written language proficiency test. Applicants with less experience will be considered for the post of Manager.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
