3.1 R Hinchliff reported the “Helpston Housing Team’s” concerns re. water contamination. The Clerk reported that council was well aware of this historical issue (30 years) and that monitoring was ongoing. He offered to seek update information.
3.2 RH also drew attention to the wall demolition opposite Maxey road. Clerk reported that he had already invited City Conservation officers to view this and report on permissions and footpath diversions.
3.3 Ann Bell complained about car parking in Temples Court when spaces were already provided within the Twigden development. Clerk will investigate possible solutions but Council did point out that street parking was not necessarily illegal.

Re. the speed limits, Clerk was asked to tell City to retain the 20mph limit but to seek better positioning of the 30mph flashing repeater sign.

8.2 17/01448/OUT for land adjacent to 85 West Street and 60 dwellings: Council resolved to object to this application using criteria specified in the Current Local Plan for Peterborough.

11.3 The Exeter Arms: Clerk had written to Barry Sheerman re. possibilities for the Village now that The Exeter Arms was “on the market”. No formal response received. Cllr Driver reported vandalism / behaviour issues on the premises. Action: Clerk to contact the Trust and the Police (re. poor response).
