A GANG OF NOTORIOUSROBBERS BUSTED
INTRODUCATION
With the arrest of the following five notorious robbers the North-West District has busted a gang of robbers and worked out three cases of armed robbery and three cases of auto lifting:
(1)Anish (age 45 years) s/o Nadir Khan r/o H.No. 111, Gali No. 1, Rameshwar Nagar, Azad Pur, Delhi
(2)Shamshuddin @ Raju (age 42 years) s/o Sorang Khan r/o H.No. 554, Gali No. 22, Puran Mustafabad, Gokal Puri, Delhi.
(3)Ajay @ Vivek (age 27 years) s/o Ram Raj r/o Gali No. 9, Shiv Puri, Sagar Pur, Delhi.
(4)Aashu @ Somnath (age 26 years) s/o Lal Ji Shanker r/o Jhuggi No. F-236, WPIA, Ashok Vihar, Delhi.
(5)Ajay @ Tersaim (age25 years) s/o ShriParkashr/o Village, Parladh Pur, Delhi,
Incident
On 12/03/2011 one Bhawani Shanker (an employee of Ganga Floor mill) alongwith two other employees were going to deposit the cash in Union Bank of India Ashok Vihar Delhi in a Santro Car. At about 11.15 A.M the car was intercepted by four persons on two motorcycles and they forced the car to stop in G Block Lawrence road Indl. Area. All the four were having Country made pistols in their hands and robbed the bag containing about 20 Lacs at the gun point. One of the accused persons attacked the complainant with the butt of a pistol. A case vide FIR No. 58/11, u/s 392/397/34 IPC P.S keshav Puram Delhi was registered on the statement of Bhawani shankar.
Police team
A police team consisting of staff from Operation Cell North West Distt, Sub- Division Ashok Vihar and Jahangir Puri was constituted to work out the case.
Investigation and interrogation
On 08/08/2011 on the basis of secret information accused (1)Ajay @ Vivek S/o Ramja Lal R/o Gali No. 9 Shiv Puri Sagarpur Delhi (2) Ashu S/o Lalji Sonkar R/o Jhuggi No. F-236,, WPIA Ashok Vihar Delhi (3) Shamshuddin @ Raju @ Vicky s/o Soran Khan R/o A-554 old Mustafabad Delhi (4) Anish S/o Nadar Khan R/o H.no. 111, Gali no. 1 Rameshwar Nagar Azadpur Delhi were apprehended in B-Block Lawrence Road Indl. Area Delhi near Striplex Banquet Hall and recovered two Country made pistols, five live cartridges, one pulsar motorcycle No. DL8SZ 9206 stolen from P.S Adarsh nagar, one Bajaj CT 100 motorcycle No. DL8SAY 9405 stolen from P.S Keshav Puram from their possession. All the accused persons were interrogated. They disclosed that they came here to rob a businessman of Lawrence Road Indl. Area. The accused were further subjected to sustained interrogation. They further disclosed about their involvement in the robbery of Rs. 20 Lacs of P.S keshav Puram on 12.03.2011 and robbery of 15 Lacs of P.S Hari Nagar Delhi on 01.08.2011. Arrested accused Ashu used to collect information regarding persons depositing the heavy amount in the Banks. On their further interrogation one co-accused Ajay @ Tarsem was also arrested. Ajay @ Tarsem used to supply SIM cards on fake I.D to the accused persons. One Activa scooty, two bags and Rs.70,000/- were also recovered at their instances.

2.Anish S/o Nadar Khan is illiterate and previously involved in three cases theft and robbery . He is fruit seller.
3.Ajay @ Tarsem s/o Parkash is studied upto 10th class and previously involved in one case of robbery. He is having a mobile shop in Prahladpur villgae and he provide mobile and Sim on fake/without I.D to the accused persons and criminals.
4.Ajay @ Vivek S/o Ramja Lal is studied upto 12th class from BNB Inter college Banihau Jonpur U.P and works as a Fruit seller in Azadpur Mandi Delhi he has no previous involvement.

SHARP SHOOTER OF EASTERN UP BASED AJAY SIPAHI GANG NABBED WITH LOADED COUNTRY MADE PISTOL, ONE STOLEN MOTOR CYCLE RECOVERED
With the arrest of two desperate criminals namely 1. Satish Singh Singh @ Bunty Singh aged 32 years s/o Bhagwan Baksh r/o Village Malvani, Post Jaitu Pur, PS Mehruaa, District Ambedkar Nagar, UP and 2. Aditya Pratap Singh @ Pinku aged 24 years s/o Udaybhan Singh r/o Village & Post Teriya, Tehsil & PS Bhiti, District Ambedkar Nagar, UP, officials of North District Police have cracked down entry of Ajay’s Sipahi Gang in Delhi and recovered one Bajaj Pulsar motor cycle stolenfrom Noida, UP and one country made pistol with two live cartridge.
INCIDENT AND TEAM
On 05.08.2011, secretinformation was received at AATS/North that two persons would come at Gate No.3, Metro Station, Kashmere Gate, Delhi to meet their third associate and to commit robbery in the area of Kashmeri Gate. Onreceipt of this information, ateam headed by Insp./AATS, Shaliender Tomar, consisting of SI Ravindra Singh, ASI Nisar Ahmed, HC Ishwar, Ct. Ravi and Ct. Ansar Khanwas constituted under thesupervisionof Sh. R.K.Singh ACP/Operation Cell. Accordingly, the officials of AATS team took their position at gate No.3, Kashmere Gate Metro Station. At about 03:35 P.M, two persons came on a Bajaj Pulsar motor cycle. Sensing the presence of police they tried to run away but they were apprehended. On enquiry their names were revealed as1. Satish Singh @ Bunty Singh s/o Bhagwan Baksh r/o Village Malvani, Post Jaitu Pur, PS Mehruaa, District Ambedkar Nagar, UP and 2. Aditya Pratap Singh @ Pinku s/o Udaybhan Singh r/o Village & Post Teriya, Tehsil & PS Bhiti, District Ambedkar Nagar, UP. They were asked to produce the document pertaining to the motor cycle, but they failed to do so. An enquiry was made through Police Control Room of U.P, the motor cycle was found to be stolen from PS Sector-20, Noida, UP vide case FIR No. 880/09, u/s 379 IPC, PS Sector-20, Noida, UP. During interrogation, they disclosed that the said motor cycle was stolen by their third associate namely Rakesh. On the casual search of Satish Singh @ Bunty Singh, who was on the back seat, one loaded country made pistol and one more live cartridge were recovered from his possession. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No. 155/11 dated 05.08.2011 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act & 411/34 IPC was registered at PS Kashmere Gate.
INTERROGATION On sustained interrogation, it was revealed that Satish Singh @ Bunty Singh was initially a farmer but due to poverty and to earn quick money he came into the contact of Ajay Sipahi Gang, who used to extort rich people. Later on he became sharp shooter of the gang and started extorting money. Ajay Singh was a constable in UP Police, but due to his criminal activities he was dismissed from the service. Presently, he is in Ajam Garh Jail in various cases. As per the direction of Ajay Sipahi, Satish Singh @ Bunty Singh started looking after the work of his gang. Meanwhile a sensational double murder of jeweller brothers was committed in Gosai Ganj, UP. His name was also highlighted in this murder and was a prime suspect in this case. Hence, he left the area and came to Delhi to meet his associate Rakesh for arranging the country made pistol (Katta), cartridges and a stolen motor cycle for the purpose of committing robbery.
During sustained interrogation both the accused confessed that Rakesh managed one country made pistol, cartridges and motor cycle. SOG Faizabad, UP has informed that Bunty Singh is wanted in recent shoot out case of Gosai Ganj, UP in which president of jeweler association Rakesh Jaiswal and his brother was killed. He is prime suspect in this case and that is why he is absconding from his native village. He is wanted in another murder case of PS Jaitu Pura, UP in which Sarpanch of the village was brutally killed. As per the SOG, Faizabad, UP that he is also a prime suspect in an extortion case in which rupees 20 lakhs cash was extorted from the manager of MNC Telecom Company. Another accused, Aditya Pratap Singh is also found to be involved in another murder case of PS Atrollia, District Ambedkar Nagar, UP, in which he killed his relative due to his personal enmity and remained in jail for about 14 months. After release from jail he came into the contact of Ajay Sipahi Gang. Intimation has already been given to UP Police and efforts are on to find out their other involvements.

2.Aditya Pratap Singh @ Pinku aged 24 years s/o UdaybhanSinghr/oVillage and Post Teriya, PS Bhiti District Ambedkar Nagar, UP. He is unmarried and graduate. He is previously involved in a case FIR No. 193/09 u/s 302 IPC , PS Atrolia, District Ambedkar Nagar, UP.

HOAX BOMB CALLER ARRESTED
With the arrest of Bunty s/o Suresh Chand r/o B-13/23-24, Shahbad Dairy, Delhi, officials of North District Police solved a hoax bomb call and recovered stolen mobile phone and SIM card from his possession.
INCIDENT AND TEAM
On 03.08.2011, a PCR call regarding planting of bomb in a Maruti Zen car, which is parked in the parking lot of Tis Hazari Courts was received at PP Tis Hazari, Delhi vide DD No. 15 dated 03.08.11. After receiving the said call, Bomb Disposal Squad was called. There was a sense of panic and insecurity among the people. Keeping in view the sensitivity of the information, the parking lot was intensively checked by the local police as well as Bomb Disposal Unit, but no bomb was detected. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 172/11 dated 06.08.2011 u/s 66 A. Information Technology Act was registered at PS Subzi Mandi and investigation was taken up by Operation Cell/North District.
A team consisting of SI Sanjay Goswami and HC Jitender under the supervision of Insp. Dinesh Kumar and overall supervision of Sh. R. K. Singh ACP/Operation Cell, North District was constituted. On probing the details of the mobile phone number, from which the malicious call was made, it was found that it belonged to one Bimal Prasad. On further enquiry, it was found that the said mobile phone was stolen two days prior and the SIM No. of that mobile phone was being used in another instrument. Ultimately after strenuous efforts, the real culprit namely Bunty s/o Suresh Chand r/o B-13/23-24, Shahbad Dairy Delhi was nabbed. The phone instrument and SIM were recovered from his possession.
INTEROGATION
On interrogation accused Bunty disclosed that he made this call to create panic in the court premises and to harass the police. He was thinking that he will not be caught as he was using the stolen mobile phone. During further interrogation, it was also revealed that the accused Bunty was previously involved in the case of mobile theft vide FIR No. 240/09 U/S 379/411 IPC P.S. Shahbad Dairy, Delhi.

HOUSE THEFT REPORTED AT THE HOUSE OF JUDICIAL OFFICER IN SAKET WORKED OUT : ACCUSED ALONG WITH RECEIVER ARRESTED AND PART OF STOLEN PROPERTY RECOVERED
With the arrest of two accused namely Prakash (20 years) s/o Nandu r/o Village Gumariya, PS Raj Dhanwa, District Girdih, Jharkhand and receiver of stolen property namely Anil Swarankal (28 years) s/o Bhuvneshwar r/o Village Ghor Thamba, PS Raj Dhanwa, District Girdih, Jharkhand (Jeweller), the staff of PS Saket, South District have solved a case of house theft reported at the house of a judicial officer in Saket and recovered part of stolen property / cash.
INCIDENT / BRIEF FACTS :
On 10.7.11 Smt. Swati Singh w/o Sachin Sangwan r/o H. No. D-41, Court Complex, Saket found that some cash and gold jewellery had been stolen from her house.She suspected the involvement of a domestic help namely Prakash who had served at her home earlier and had left the job in the recent past.In this regard, a case vide FIR No. FIR No. 223 dated 10.7.2011 u/s 381 IPC PS Saket was registered and investigation taken up.
INVESTIGATION :
In order to apprehend the accused and recovery of stolen property, a team consisting of ASI Jaipal Singh, HC Raj Kumar and Cts. Narender and Shiv Kumar under the supervision of Inspr. Rajender Singh, SHO/Saket and Sh. Manishi Chandra, ACP/Hauz Khas was formed.
During the course of investigation, since domestic servant Prakash belongs to Jharkhand, the team visited Jharkhand and made intensive hunt to locate the accused at his possible hideouts in naxalite affected area. Finally, with the help of local police of Jharkhand, accused Prakash was apprehended from his village on 31.07.11.During interrogation, accused confessed the crime. He was brought to Delhi and taken on police custody remand for five days to affect the recovery of stolen jewellery which he had sold to a jeweler living in the adjoining village of accused.The team again went to Jharkhand and arrested receiver of stolen property Anil (jeweller) from his village and recovered gold jewellery i.e. tops, chain locket etc. and cash Rs. 4500/-.
INTERROGATION:
On interrogation, accused disclosed that he was brought to Delhi by Ashok and Darshana who runs an Employment Agency in Chirag Delhi area.He was employed at the house of Mrs. Swati in Saket.He further disclosed that initially he was working in Greater Kailash as domestic help andcame into contact of one Ranjeet Singh where both had worked together.Later, as per his disclosure Ranjeet started working in Vasant Kunj and escaped with his master’s gold articles and he also motivated him to do the same thing with his master to make money quickly and escape to Jharkhand. Further, interrogation revealed that accused Anil (jeweller) is habitual receiver of stolen property and had also been rounded up by Kolkatta Police in such cases earlier.Further investigation is on to probe the previous involvement of accused where he has worked earlier.

AUTOLIFTER ARRESTED- TWO STOLEN MOTORCYCLES RECOVERED
The staff of PS Mianwali Nagar of West District has arrested one person namely Chaman Singh @ Happy S/o Maluk Singh @ Anmol R/o H. No. 56/57, CA Block, Chander Vihar, Nilothi Extn., Delhi, who is involved in many cases of auto theft and recovered two stolen motorcycles from him.

INFORMATION AND OPERATION
On 08.08.2011, a secret information was received that a desperate auto lifter namely Chaman would be coming from Peeragarhi side alongwith his associates and go towards Nangloi on a stolen motorcycle No. DL 4S AZ 1548 Hero Honda Passion. Immediately a team comprising of ASI Balvinder Singh, HC Narender Singh, 200/W & Ct. Rajesh Kumar, 1170/W headed by Inspr. Rajesh Kumar, SHO/ Mianwali Nagar was formed under the overall supervision of Sh. Satish Yadav ACP/ Punjabi Bagh. The team started vehicle checking in front of DTC depot, Nangloi by erecting barricades. At 08.30 PM, a Hero Honda Passion motorcycle registration No. DL 4S AZ 1548 was spotted coming from Peeragarhi side. The team signaled the motorcycle to stop. The rider stopped the motorcycle few steps ahead of the team and tried to flee from the spot on foot, abandoning the motorcycle. The rider managed to escape, but the pillion rider, who fell down during the attempt, was apprehended by the team. On interrogation, he revealed that the motorcycle was stolen by him with the help of his associate Sonu @ Sunny R/o Shahpura, Tilak Vihar, Delhi from Vikas Puri area in the morning hours. In this regard, a case FIR No. 271/11, U/S 379 IPC is registered in PS Vikas Puri. He was accordingly arrested vide DD No. 48A, U/S 41.1 (D) CrPC, P. S. Mianwali Nagar, Delhi.
