12. / Total Amount / Rs 15,42,96,890/- (Rupees Fifteen Crore Forty-Two Lakh Ninety-Six thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety Only) payable as per clause –15 of this APO and deferred payment of Rs 2,01,30,202/- (Rupees Two Crore One Lakh Thirty Thousand Two Hundred and Two only) payable in two equal instalments -- first one at the end of first year and second at the end of second year counted from the date of effective commissioning for all RAS. The details of rates of RAS and breakup of deferred payment is given in Annexure-C. The amount for AMC for a period of 3 years after expiry of warranty is Rs 4,09,63,872/-

14. / Delivery Time Frame / As per clause 3.1 of section IV of tender as amended by amendment dated 02.05.2003

17. / Inspection / The validation/ field trial and acceptance testing (A/T) of the RAS will be done as per clause 3.1 & 3.5 of section IV of tender document as amended by amendment dated 02.05.2003
18. / Insurance / The equipment shall be got insured by the contractor up to the time it is delivered to the consignee. The supplier will be responsible till the entire quantity of the stores ordered is received in good working conditions at the destinations by the consignee. The consignee will immediately, but not later than prescribed period of insurance, on the arrival of stores at the destination notify the contractor of any damage or loss to the stores that may have occurred during transit. The period of insurance cover will be indicated by the contractor to consignee/paying authority. In case of any damage / loss during transit the case will be lodged by the supplier with the concerned authority on receipt of report from the consignee / paying authority. The store should on no account be dispatched/ delivered without getting tested / accepted by A/T wing of BSNL.

Total number of Modem ports ordered = 30,270

However higher number of ports will be available at a number of locations (Detail’s at Annexure-C) and BSNL will have the absolute right to use the same without paying anything extra. All support , warranty& AMC shall be extended by M/s ITI Ltd for these additional ports also.
