Fault title: Rolling An Operating System Back To Restore Point
In order to complete this task I had to ensure that the user’s computer system was turned on and logged in. After this these were the steps that needed to be taken into account in order to start the ‘System Restore.’ ‘All Programmes>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore.’ Next I pressed on the next option till the user’s computer system started to restore the user’s files. After that some steps were followed so that the ‘Restoring Process’ was complete. Finally a ‘Dialogue Box’ appeared and declared that the user’s computer system had fully been restored. / Fault title: CD-ROM Not Working
I worked with Laxman throughout some videos and for this particular kind of fault he noticed that the ‘CD-ROM’ was not functioning the way it used to be and that also due this fact CD’s or DVD’S could not be inserted and viewed within the computer system. To get rid of this problem he had to ensure that once again he certainly follows the ‘Health and Safety Rule’ especially by making sure that there aren’t any wires plugged in within the computer and that the ‘Power System’ was turned off in order to prevent harm to the technician (Laxman) and also to those components within the computer system. Once both Anti-Static Strap and Mat were in use, he gently opened up the computer system and noticed that the ‘Molex Connecter’ was snapped. However his ideas were truly well prepared as he had an extra cable and attached it onto the ‘Power Supply’ till it reached the ‘CD Drive.’ Once the computer system was turned on again the CD was noticed by the computer system once again.
Fault title: Inserting A New RAM As User’s Operating System Was Not Functioning Well
For this video I had to work with Jesal and he stated that his computer system was not running efficiently and that he desperately wanted to make changes to it in order to make it as fast as possible. In order to alter these changes I first had to see what compatibility the RAM was and how much memory space it had left on the user’s computer system. Secondly I unplugged each and every single cable connected to the user’s computer system as I had to consider the ‘Health and Safety Matters’ during this situation as I had to use an Anti-Static Wrist Strap and Mat in order to prevent harm from the components within the system’s shell. Next I detached one of the RAM Components as there were only 2 RAM outlets available. So at the end of the day I decided to replace and confiscate one of the RAM Components within the computer system with a brand new one. When this took place there was no whatsoever of a beeping sound which therefore meant that the brand new RAM component had been installed effectively along with the other, ancient one without having any mischiefs. / Fault title: Rolling An Operating System Back To Restore Point

Learner’s Summary/ Evaluation
At the end of the day this was really useful as I acknowledged a variety of the fundamentals during complicated ‘Troubleshooting Techniques’ for both ‘Computer Programs’ and ‘Components.’ During this particular unit I have also learnt a valuable lesson especially with ‘Communication Skills’ with other users and the manner in which you should talk to them while fixing these variety of IT Faults.
