34th Annual Meet in The Street

WAKE FOREST, NC – March 3, 2014 – The Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce is presenting its 34th Annual Meet in the Street Festival – May 3rd from 10 am to 6 pm in Downtown Wake Forest. 15,000 people shop, listen to music and have fun!

This year, along with the usual fun Children’s Carnival, Beer Garden, Bicycle Safety Course, Face Painting, and Fire Truck – we have added Food Trucks, The Carolina Hurricanes Storm Squad (along with Stormy!) and an activity truck where you can make your own Tie Dye!

The entire downtown area will be blocked off for the event. There will be over a hundred Handcrafted Arts and Crafts, Downtown Merchants, a Performance Plaza (Cirque De Vol, Martial Arts, Cheer Leading, Demonstrations and other local performances), and Live Music onthe Main Stage by the Beer Garden, (East Coast Rhythm & Blues Band, David Dixon Acoustic, TheWill McBride Group). Additional performance by Flow Circus in the Performance Area.
