1. Registration Time & Location
1.1 Registration Time: 8:00-17:30, August 26-28th, 2016
1.2 Registration Location:
South Campus (for students at South Campus and East Campus): the first floor of School of Foreign Languages, South Campus of SYSU
North Campus: International Students Dormitory Building,Room 104 (beside the playground), North Campus of SYSU
Zhuhai Campus: Rong Yuan No.4 Building, Room 310, Zhuhai Campus of SYSU
2. What you should bring when you come to register
1 / Passport2 / Four copies each of your passport’s Information Page, Visa Page and Entry Record Page.
3 / 5 Visa photos(for new students only)
4 / Admission Notice(original), Visa Application for Study in China (original)
(for new students only)
5 / International Medical Check Report (for new students only)
6 / Students ID or Campus Card (for continued students only)
7 / The most up-to-date REGISTRATION FORM OF TEMPORARY RESIDENCE FOR VISITORS (original)
8 / Certificate of Class Attendance for Spring Semester, 2016 (for students of non-degree Chinese Language Course only)
3. Registration Procedures
3.1 Fill out Registration Forms(new students only)
3.2 Payment:
Pay for application fee(new students only);
Pay for medical insurance fee(non-degree students only);
Choose the period of payment for tuition fee & medical insurance fee, obtain the Bank Card(degree students only)
Make a deposit or remittance with the bank card you received at any bank branch in China before September 9th,2016(degree students only)
Log in Sun Yat-sen University Charging Platform and finish payments online (the bank card used to pay online should be with online banking services) from 9th to 13th, September 2016(non-degree students only)
3.3 Obtain Visa Documents & Notice for Attending Classes
3.4 After receiving Notice for Attending Classes which you got in Zone 4, report yourself to your own school/department
3.5 Finish online pre-application of medical check-up and visa/Residence Permit in International Students Office, take medical check-up in the Guangdong International Travel Health Center and apply visa/Residence Permit in the Divisions of Aliens & Exit-Entry Administration of the Municipal Public Security Bureau (Immigration Dept.)
