“Got’em Dad”

Ducks Unlimited 2006/07 International Artist of the Year

· This marks Ralph McDonald’s 21st print to be featured in the National Art Package and the 14th print in the Greenwing Series

· In the last 27 years McDonald’s prints have generated over 20 million dollars for Ducks Unlimited

· Includes a 2006/07 IAOY medallion inlaid in the mat

“Into the Fog”

· Richard Clifton is a Delaware native and a self-taught artist specializing in wildlife

· This marks his 5th appearance in the National Art Package

· “Into the Fog” captures the splendor of a flock of Greenwing Teal making their way to a foggy marsh

“Open Field Runners”

· In 1981 Bruce Miller decided that his love for the outdoors could be revealed in his artwork

· Over his career he has won many conservation stamps and awards

· 1999 DU International Artist of the Year

“Great Retrievers-Yellow Labrador-Pintails”

· Jim Killen is highly respected in the art world as an accomplished dog artist

· Killen has once again shown his uncanny ability to recreate the loyalty that emits from a skilled Labrador

· This is Killen’s 19th appearance in the National Art Package

“Backwater”

· Scot Storm has received numerous awards including Ducks Unlimited International Artist of the year in 2005/06

· “Backwater” illustrates a new perspective on waterfowl in flight

· The vivid colors and action of this piece is sure to bring life to any room

“Return to Hay Bale”

· Scot Storm started his career in architecture but his love of hunting and the outdoors inspired him to paint

· The self-taught artist began painting full time in 1999

· This piece captures the grandeur of a flock of Redheads and a lone Canvasback gathering at a favored “honey hole”

“Mack’s Mallards”

· Phillip Crowe utilizes actual life experiences in his paintings to create scenes with dramatic realism

· You can almost here the wings beat as the Mallards descend upon the flooded timber

· Crowe has participated in the National Art program many times since 1990

“Waterfowling Hot Spots, Canada Geese at Currituck Sound”

· Marks the second piece in the Waterfowling Hot Spots Collection by David Maass

· David Maass has been commissioned to capture the most popular waterfowling spots

· The Currituck Sound is known for its population of fish and wildlife and is a migrating path for ducks, Canada Geese, and other birds

“Heading South”

· This is Richard Plasschaert’s third appearance in the National Art Package

· He was the International Artist of the Year in 2001/02

· Plasschaert has captured a trio of American Wigeon “Heading South” for the winter months

“Family Outing”

2005 Ducks Unlimited Canada Artist of the Year

· British Columbian Shae Inglis ha been an artist all his life

· He recreates a heartwarming scene of a bull elk as he stands alongside his mate and their calf in a meadow
