On May 11, 2017, the annual HHS Education Foundation Relay will be held, beginning with the walk around the Patterson Loop Road at 12:30 p.m. and concluding with the final dance of the school year. This fun-filled activity day is a fund-raiser for scholarships and for school improvement projects. Students will be canvassing their neighborhoods looking for support from friends and relatives.
A group of students from grades seven to nine will be headed to UNB on Friday, May 12, for the annual Math Competition. This group will compete with students from across the province to write a multiple choice competition paper. The competition provides a valuable opportunity for collaboration between the university and highschool. Following the assessment, students will spend the afternoon exploring different scientific and mathematical demonstrations. There will be a prize presentation at the end of the day. Good luck to those competing!
After three weeks of high school badminton playoffs, three of our athletes advanced to the provincial championship in Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Continue to check under the “Extracurricular-Athletics” link on the HHS website for weekly updates on practices, games and tournaments. As usual, home games are also posted on the digital sign at the end of the HHS driveway.
