Completed Application Packages are due before midnight on February 1st 2018.
The CUES Implementation Fund activates community-engaged projects through knowledge mobilization, translation, and exchange. You can use the fund to create and distribute materials, apply research at the community level, convene a public forum, or propose an innovative implementation idea that responds to a community’s needs.
CUES funds are intended to support projects that align with principles of community engagementthrough commitments to reciprocity, flexibility and openness, transparency and a respect for difference.
CUES funding will be awarded based onthird party review toassess how well proposals demonstrate implementation planning, community benefit, and implementation partnership (see the CUES Implementation Fund application guide for more information).
Excellent CUES ImplementationFund proposals will:
-Provide a clear plan for applying the results, findings, or recommendations from a previous collaborative project or program;
-Lay out a clear plan for working with communities who will be affected by implementation that is responsive to proven community needs and priorities; and,
-Identify partners needed to carry out implementation, including any new partners, with evidence of early engagement and a clear plan for future partnership and collaboration.
