FUEL PRICE REPORT – JANUARY 2001
Prices at garages and supermarkets fell this month. At garages Higher Octane fell by 2.3p per litre (10.4p per gallon), Unleaded by 2.5p
per litre (11.4p per gallon), Diesel by 2.7p per litre (12.3p per litre). At supermarkets Higher Octane fell by 2.4p per litre (10.9p per gallon),
Unleaded by 3.1p per litre (14.1p per gallon), and Diesel by 3.2p per litre (14.5p per gallon).
The national average price for LPG is currently 40.78p per litre.
The most expensive region (excluding “Scotland - remote areas”) for each fuel is boxed.

FUEL PRICE REPORT – FEBRUARY 2001
Prices at garages and supermarkets varied little from last month. At garages Higher Octane rose by 0.1p per litre (0.4p per gallon),Unleaded rose by 0.5p per litre (2.4p per gallon), and Diesel fell by 0.2p per litre (0.9p per gallon). At supermarkets Higer Octane fell by
0.4p per litre (1.8p per gallon), Unleaded rose by 0.4p per litre (1.8p per gallon), and Diesel fell by 0.2p per litre (0.9p per gallon).

FUEL PRICE REPORT – MARCH 2001
Prices at garages and supermarkets fell after the budget. At garages Higher Octane fell by 4.1p per litre (18.5p per gallon), Unleaded by2.5p per litre (11.4p per gallon) and Diesel by 3.7p per litre (16.8p per gallon). At supermarkets Higher Octane fell by 4.2p per litre
(19.1p per gallon), Unleaded by 2.5p per litre (11.4p per gallon), and Diesel by 3.8p per litre (17.3p per gallon).
The national average price for LPG is 37.85p per litre.
