This unique Photo Tour is a wonderful way to learn more about the history and flora of the Cape Region and to admire the unique architecture of the Magic Town of Todos Santos and its diverse natural environment of mountains, ocean, desert, and oasis, while our professional tour guide and experienced photographer capture your experience in beautiful color photos.
You will be picked-up from your hotel and you will be driven to the charming colonial town of Todos Santos, which is located near the Tropic of Cancer between the Pacific Ocean and the imposing mountain range of the “Sierra La Laguna”. Because of its unique geographic location, the town is surrounded by an oasis with streams of pure spring water, palm and fruit-bearing trees and colorful flowers, turning it into a photographic paradise. Furthermore, this exceptional Mexican colonial town had turned into a vibrant spot with a lively and multicultural arts scene, due to a large number of American artists among the Mexican painters, writers, artisans and sculptors.
During your visit to this Magic Town, you will have a guided walking tour through the historical center, where you will pass by houses from the 19th century with their beautiful architecture and where you will visit the former Jesuit mission church, the town square with its historical kiosk and theatre, the monument of the gray whale, the colonial Todos Santos Inn, the famous “Caffe Todos Santos”, and the interesting Cultural Center, where your photographer will take a lot of photos. Furthermore, during this walk you will learn more about the rich and diverse flora of this magical place, and will you be introduced to the different cozy galleries and shops, which you can visit at your leisure.
Finally, you will have an exclusive visit to the legendary Hotel California; it is believed that this hotel was the inspiration of the famous song Hotel California of The Eagles. You will not only have entrance to the lobby, but you will be guided through the beautiful courtyard and some other special spots of this colorful hotel while enjoying a delicious margarita. During your free time you can also have lunch at restaurant “La Coronela” of the Hotel California, where you can choose between a wide variety of Mexican and international dishes for all tastes and desires.
Afterwards, you will be driven to a beautiful location where you will have a walk in the rolling hills of the desert landscape, from up where you will have a unique view of the mountains and the pristine beach meeting the ocean. In addition you will be able to see the freshwater lagoon which features a fantastic array of bird life; the heart of the desert oasis of Todos Santos.
After your encounter with nature, you will have a tequila tour and some free time in Cabo San Lucas. After your free time, you will return to your hotel in Los Cabos.
Tour price:
75 USD p.p. Children between the age of 12 and 2 years get a 50% discount, and children under the age of 2 years get a 100% discount with each adult ticket purchased. All prices include 11% V.A.T.
