SIXTH FORM DRESS CODE /

Non negotiable: You must wear your ID badge at ALL times. You will be sent home if you are not wearing it.

The dress code is:

Appropriate School Wear

‘School appropriate’ -decent, professional, clean, modest, efficient, cheap

What not to wear:

O  Instead of a list of clothes you should wear, we are providing you with a short list of what you cannot wear. This should make it easier to get dressed in the morning!

O  We have made it gender neutral, there will not be a separate list for boys and girls.

THE RULES:

O  Wear your ID badge at ALL times

O  No Ripped Jeans

O  No Tracksuits or tracksuit bottoms

O  No Hats

O  No Flip Flops

O  No Shorts

O  No Mini Skirts

O  No Vests or Crop Tops

This list will change as fashions change.

ALL STUDENTS

IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE
1.  No hats except for religious purposes.
2.  No items shall obscure the face e.g. hoods, handkerchiefs or hair.
3.  Electronic equipment should not be visible around the school e.g. on corridors etc.
4.  No prominent logos to be worn.
5.  No jewellery to be worn at any time during sporting activities.
6.  Mid/long hair must be tied back during all sporting activities.
Valuables: Do not bring any valuables to school. The school cannot be held responsible for any valuable items going missing. If you do have valuables on you at PE times please either lock them away in your locker or, alternatively, put in clear bag labelled with your name and form and pass to the PE staff who will lock away in the PE office.
General Guide to all students
Form tutors will guide you on whether your dress meets the standard required. Any disputes about suitability will be decided by the Head of Year/Director of Sixth Form.
