In granting this sanction it is understood and agreed that USA Swimming shall be free from any liabilities or claims or damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the event.

FACILITIES:25 meter, 6-lane outdoor pool
Competition course has not been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(3).
Water depth at start end is5’1” at 1 meter and 5’at 5 meter mark. In turn end, depth is 4’ at 1 meter and 4’2” at 5 meter mark.
TIMING:Three manual timers required per lane. Each team will be assigned lanes to timeand teams will need to supply their own watches for their timers.
VOLUNTEERS: Teams entering will need to provide timers and place judges for each session. Team assignments will be listed in the program and announced.

RULES:1. USA Swimming Technical Rules and Codes of Regulation, the Southeastern Colorado Aquatics League(SECAL) by-laws and Council Meeting minutes will be the authorities for the conduct of the meet.
2. The Meet Referee will have the complete control and final authority on all procedures regarding the conduct of the meet, including breaks and postponements.
3. Any protest at the meet shall go to the Meet Referee in writing as prescribed by the USA Rule Book. If the protest cannot be settled, it shall go to the Executive Board in writing within 48 hours with allpertinent information included. A decision must be rendered within 30 days.
4. This is a TIMED FINAL meet with entries being pre-seeded. The meet will follow the 4 hour time limit for sessions (205.3.1F).
5. Swimmers in the 1500 meter must provide their own timers(3) and counter. 6. Age on the first day of the meet shall determine the swimmer’s age for the entire
meet.Seasonal swimmers may use their age on May 15, 2015.
7. The standard CSI warm-up procedures are in effect for this meet. This includes swimmers entering the warm-up lanes using a 3-point feet-first entry where both feet and one hand must be in contact with the deck or end wall immediately prior to entering the water.
8. The USA Swimming whistle start procedure will be used (USA Swimming Rule Book). The USA Swimming NO RECALL method for false starts will be used.
9. All relays MUST BE DECLARED 30 MINUTES BEFORE THE SESSION BEGINS. (Names of relay swimmers must be included in the meet entries.)
10. Teams ARE RESPONSIBLE for the conduct of their team members, coaches, and boosters. Teams need to CLEAN UP their team areas.
11. NO SMOKING, E OR VAPOR CIGARETTES, TOBACCO PRODUCTS, MARIJUANA PRODUCTS, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR GLASS CONTAINERS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE POOL AREA OR ANY AREA FREQUENTED BY THE SWIMMERS.
12. Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms, or locker rooms. There is to be no on deck photography from behind the starting platforms.
13. Hired photographers are not covered by USA Swimming’s insurance and must provide both the host club and the venue host with a certificate of insurance naming both as Additional Insured. If the professional photographer doesn’t have general liability insurance, they are not allowed to roam the venue as a professional photographer…only as a spectator. Additionally, the club who hired the photographer must have signed permission forms from the parents of all swimmers to be photographed. The USA Swimming Insurance broker has recommended that hired photographers not be allowed on deck unless the photographer has been contracted by the host club with the concurrence of all clubs involved in the meet to take pictures of all participants. Again, permission forms must be received from the parents of any swimmer to be photographed.
14. The warm-up times and start times may beadjusted as needed based on the number of entries received.
15. Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is prohibited.
16. At a sanctioned competitive event, USA Swimming athlete members must be under the supervision of a USA Swimming member coach during warm-up, competition, and warm-down. The Meet Director or Meet Referee may assist the swimmer in making arrangements for such supervision, but it is the swimmer’s responsibility to make such arrangements prior to the start of the meet.
17. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USASwimming member-coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race fromwithin the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.
ELIGIBILITY:This is a CLOSED AGE GROUP MEET, open only to teams in good standing withSECAL and with their SECAL dues paid by June 1, 2015. All competitors must be registered with USAswimming, hold a current 2015USA Swimming membership card, year round or seasonal, and must be prepared to show the cardupon request. Any swimmer that appears on the Colorado Swimming (CSI) exceptions report without registration must come to the meet prepared to show their card, or they will be deck registered before they can enter the water. The deck registration fee will include a surcharge of $27.00 for year round swimmers and $14.00 for Seasonal swimmers plus the current registration fee.No swimmer will be permitted to compete unless the swimmer is a member as provided in Article 302.
ENTRIES: Teams will not be limited as to the number of competitors in individual events. Each INDIVIDUALmay swim no more than four(4) individual events and one (1) relay per day. Swimmers with “No Time” will be placed in the slowest heat.Heats will be seeded slowest to fastest.
ENTRY FEES: Entry fees are $3.50 per Individual Event and $5.00 per Relay. There will be a $5.00 perswimmer surcharge. Please make checks to “Cañon City Swim Team.” Fees should be submitted with entries and willbe paid in full prior to the start of the meet.

PROCEDURES: ALL TIMES must be submitted in short course meters. Entries should be submittedwith HYTEK software format using Team Manager. All other entries are to be on the CSI Master sheets that list the swimmer’s name and age, team code, USA number, event number, and entry time. There is a $25.00 clerical fee if using Master sheets for teams of EIGHT (8) or more swimmers.CSI Meet Verification form must accompany entries.
Unattached swimmers must be assigned to a coach from another team to act in their interest. The assigned coach will be responsible for the supervision of the warm up / warm down, and all other responsibilities of the swimmer.

Any entries that are received after the deadline of July 6that 9pm will be charged $4.50 per Individual Event and $6.00 per relay in addition to the $5 swimmer surcharge.Late entries must present proof of current registration and will be accepted only if there are available lanes. No additional heats will be established for late entries. All late entries that are swimmers not already in the meet will be required to show proof of registration.
SCRATCHES: Scratches will be made prior to the start of each session. Swimmers not reporting behind theblocks when called will be scratches.
