Instructions for the candidates attending counselling for the post of
Medical Officer (Specialists)
1. Candidate should download the application format available on www.pbhealth.gov.in.
2. The schedule of Interview is displayed on our website www.pbehalth.gov.in. Candidates are advised to attend interview as per the date mentioned against their name in the list. The interview will be held strictly according to the schedule.
3. Candidates are required to reach the interview centre at least 30 minutes before the start of interview. If the candidates do not report in time, they may miss some of the general instructions to be announced before the start of the interview.
4. Candidate must bring the online filled application form, Identity proof such as Driving License/ Voter Card/ Passport/ PAN card for entry in the interview hall.
5. Candidates should attach self attested copies of the document with application form as per seriatim given below and also bring original documents at the time of counselling:
A) 8th Pass Certificate.
B) 10th Pass Certificate.
C) 12th Pass Certificate.
D) MBBS Pass Certificate (1st, 2nd, 3rd Prof.) & Degree.
E) Internship Completion Certificate.
F) Registration Certificate.
G) MD / MS / Diploma or Higher Qualification Certificate if any.
H) Experience Certificates.
I) Reservation certificate from competent authority.
J) Punjabi Pass Certificate.
K) Proof of Publication if any.
L) Attempt certificates of MBBS, MD/MS/Diploma etc.
M) Proof of Gold Medal in MBBS/MD/MS/Diploma if any.
N) Original and proper stamped certificate from District Education Officer of the concerned districts/ Executive magistrate/ principal of concerned school where the candidate have passed 8th and 10th class for claim of 8th and 10th schools located in rural area of Punjab state (format of certificate enclosed)
O) Date of Birth Certificate.
P) Two passport size Photographs.
6. For the claim of rural background number the 8th and 10th class should be passed from the school located in rural area. Rural area means the area not within the limits of urban local bodies such as Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council, Nagar Panchayat or Notified Area Committee and candidate should bring the certificate in original as per specimen given below:-

7. Mobile phone or electronic devices of any kind are not allowed to be taken in interview room.
8. All candidates are expected to maintain order and discipline within the interview room / hall. Disorderly conduct on the part of a candidate may result in his / her expulsion from the interview room / centre and cancellation of his / her candidature.
9. Smoking and consumption of refreshments shall not be allowed in the interview room.
10. No TA/ DA will be given to the candidates.
11. Interview may last in the evening and candidate should make their own arrangement for stay.
12. No other opportunity for interview will be allowed in any circumstances and no request for change of date for interview will be entertained.
