“Practice the Three Acts of Goodness –Painting
Wonderful World”Drawing Competition
I. Theme:
“Three Acts of Goodness” drawing competition is promoted by Venerable Master Hsing Yun. By doing the “Three Acts of Goodness - Do Good Deeds, Say Good Words, Think Good Thoughts”.The objectives are to encourage children to practice the Three Acts of Goodness in their daily lives, and to allow them to present, through their drawings, the wonderful people, events, and things they have observed and discovered. With an exhibition of the award-winning artworks of this competition, we can pass the kindness and joy around the world.

(3) Outstanding Award: NT$2,000, a certificate, and three Award-winning Artwork Collection Album (1 winner per division)
(4) Excellence Award: NT$1,000, a certificate, and oneAward-winning Artwork Collection Album (20 winners per division)
(5) Honorable Mention: A certificate, and oneAward-winning Artwork Collection Album (according to the number of entries)
VI. Exhibitions:
For the international contest, exhibitions of the award-winning artworks will be heldin FoGuang Yuan Art Galleries around the world, and also be published the Award-winningArtwork Collection Album.
VII. Rules for Entry:
1) Should accord with the theme of “Three Acts of Goodness”.
2) Artwork format: 39cm x 54cm (4K) unframed (about 15 inches x21 inches)
3) Drawing medium: no restriction on the medium used for the drawings. Each drawing should be two-dimensional and limited to one entry per participant.
4) Entry Deadline and place of submission:

IX. Notes:
1) All participants must meet the criteria and format set by the organizer. Participants should fill out the application form clearly and make a copy of the completed application form. The first copy of the completed application form should be pasted securely onto the bottom right corner of the back of the drawing. The application form can be downloaded from the FoGuang Yuan Art Gallery’s website: Entries without the completed application form will be disqualified.
2) A participant should not ask others to draw on his/her behalf, receive help from others whiledrawing, or commit plagiarism by copying or imitating others’ artworks. Violators will bedisqualified.
3) All participating entries are non-returnable; ownership and copyrights of all entries belong toF.G.S. Foundation for Buddhist Culture and Education.
