New BPW Mobile app for smartphones
Wiehl, 2012/09/18 ---All the services provided by BPW Bergische Achsen KG and information about any aspect of the company can now be accessed quickly and easily on a smartphone. The cost-free BPW Mobile app is available in German, English and French in an iPhone version and an Android version as well.
As one of the world's leading manufacturers of intelligent running gear systems for the commercial vehicles industry, BPW Bergische Achsen KG supplies trailer running gears with perfectly synchronised components. The company's user-friendly telematics applications help promote efficient vehicle fleet management.
More than 3,200 service partners world-wide have received specialist training to work on BPW running gears and brake systems. Up to now, customers have been able to find out who the right contact partner was for them at any time by visiting BPW's home page. The company is now providing this service on the smartphone as well: BPW Mobile allows customers to find a suitable service station anywhere in Europe quickly and easily. By using various search functions, for example Direct Search, EBS Service, location or surroundings, the app provides information about contact details and opening times of the company's Service Partners and optionally can also calculate the route to reach them.
In addition, users of BPW Mobile have access on the move to important documentation such as installation and operating instructions, brochures, spare parts lists, warranty documents, scheduled times, product overviews, maintenance instructions, workshop manuals or BPW's extensive range of training courses. The right information can be found quickly using a key word search and saved in a personal watchlist.
Current product and company news about technical innovations or press releases are available directly on the smartphone. The company's own YouTube Channel, BPW TV, providing videos about products and events, is also built into the app. The QR Code Reader can be used to gain easy access to even more extensive information on the BPW home page as well.
All of the contents of BPW Mobile can be forwarded direct via various social media platforms or by email.
The new cost-free application is available for download via the BPW home page and via the Apple iTunes Store or the Google Play Store.
