Since my childhood I have dreamed to become an Engineer, although my parents are doctors and they was encouraging me to study medicine but I never changed my mind and they respected my decision at the end and helped me to achieve my dream. In each stage of my life I keep developing my targets as per my understanding of the best definition of an Engineer, First choice I have made after joining the faculty of engineering was selecting the civil department, and the second and most important one was the selection of the graduation project.

By the time I had to select the graduation project at my final year I have had a conclusion that the project managementfield is completely matching with my interest, therefore I have selected the management of construction project as my graduation project and I completed it with excellent grade (A+).

I have started my professional carrier in construction and infrastructure projects as a site engineer then a technical office engineer then the last 8 years as a planning engineer.I am involved in project management as part of my job, my responsibilities are to manage the project planning, budgeting, cost control, procurement control, risks and execution progress.

During my work as a planning engineer I realized that I am doing the project management principals and techniques in daily basis, which encouraged me to study the project management professional certificate PMP from the project management institute PMI and I easily succeeded to be certified on 2010. The PMP course helped me to organize my steps and formalize my work procedures as per PMI 5 process groups: initiating, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closing.

I have worked as a main contractor planning engineer under the supervision of international project management companies such as Turner Construction International and Hill International and I have gained deep experience related to planning and controlling the projects, specially my latest project which is King Abdullah Conference Center located in RiyadhSaudi Arabia, I am the head of the planning department on this project and responsible of creating the project time schedule ,monitor the cost and the progress of all subcontractors and report to the project manager, senior management and the project client.

Conference Center has a project value of 330 Million U.S $ and a unique design which involved too many parties from different cultures starting from the designer office in USA, Façade contractor from Italy, Project Management office from UK, MEP sub contractor from Lebanon, the main contactor from Saudi Arabia and the local subcontractors which could be from India, Bangladesh and Philippines. The only way to manage and lead all these different parties is to talk one clear language, the project management language.

I have been in the construction field for 10 years now, my latest academic certificate (PMP) was 3 years ago,I am ready to start the next level in my carrier which is MSc in Project Management and specifically on the Construction and Infrastructure. This step is very important to my future and I am sure it will move me closer to my goal in becoming a professional planning manager to join an international company.

After a detailed research on the internet ,asking advice from my colleagues, I have realized that Liverpool Online Degree: MSc in Project Management is the best choice for me specially Liverpool is a PMI Registered Education Provider and the Programme modules matches with my knowledge and work experience, moreover I already studied some of them in my PMP course.
