Research interest

A current active research interests and projects are focused on hearing screening in infants and school aged children. A pilot study on screening newborns through otoacoustic emissions (OAE) at King Abdullah II University nursery unit is being conducted.

Another filed of research that I will be working on is the essential need of educating parents and society about hearing loss and its impact on language acquisition and speech development. This will be conducted through measuring the current attitude and practice of hearing loss among Jordanian families and health professionals.
