Subject:Thomas Dealer TechTraining

Date:March 7, 2011

As you may know, we’ve had huge success with our Thomas Built Institute training, but attendance is limited to our customers. Therefore, Thomas is pleased to announceThomas Built TechTraining for the dealership technicians. This training is designed for new dealership technicians and will cover many of the same topics as the Institute. This training will be held at the C2plant May 24 – 26, 2011 and is only open to dealers and service centers.

We will cover material for both Type C and Type D buses with a factory tour included. Topics such as advanced electrical troubleshooting and emissions technology will be included. Lunch will be supplied each day. The dealers are responsible for their own transportation and lodging expenses. To register for this event you must email and inform Mike of the attendees.

To keep the cost down on this event and support the dealers there will be no cost for the classes and the following hotels have been set up for the best rates:

The Fairfield Inn10141 N Main StArchdale, NC27263336-434-0055

Rate is $77.00 per night and includes a complementary breakfast

Holiday Inn Express10050 N Main StArchdale, NC27263336-861-3310

Hampton Inn10066 N Main StArchdale, NC27263336-434-5200

All of these locations are convenient to the plant as well as restaurants.

Classes will run 8:00am to 5:00pm all 3 days.

Training is an important part of delearship success! The dealer trainers, who are a part of Mike’s train-the-trainer program, are one key to a well-trained dealership. However, we recognize the value of new technicians visiting the factory to see the buses built and receive first-hand training. I hope you agree and hope that you send your technicians to the exciting new opportunity!
