This announcement contains the following information on the IEEE 802 Wireless Interim Session:

The IEEE 802 Wireless Interim Session will be held during the week ofJanuary 15-20, 2006 at the HiltonWaikoloaVillage, in Waikoloa, Hawaii. The following IEEE 802 Working Groups will be participating: IEEE 802.11/.15/.18/.19/.20/.21 and .22.

The hotel is located on Hawaii’s BigIsland, rich in Hawaiian culture and tradition. The Hilton is architecturally one of the most famous and unique resorts in the world. The hotel has ten distinctive restaurants, plenty of wonderful activities including swimming and golfing and fabulous meeting space.

The HiltonWaikoloaVillage is situated 17 miles from the KonaInternationalAirport, approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

Getting to and from the Airport, you have three options:

(1)taxi (estimated cost one way - $41.00US per person)

(2)car rental (see page 4for more information on rates)

(3)airport shuttle service (more details to follow later).

IEEE 802 Wireless Session Group Rates:

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL RATE
$199.00US single/double occupancy per night plus taxes.
Must book your guest room reservations prior to November 1, 2005.

AFTER NOVEMBER 1, 2005, GROUP RATE
$225.00US single/double occupancy per night plus taxes.

No charge for children, under the age of 12, sharing with parents using existing bed space.
Roll-Away bed charge is $40.00US per bed, per night.

ALL RATES ARE BASED ON HOTEL ROOM AVAILABILITY.

Room Reservations Cut Off Date is:FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2005.

Cancellation Policy: 48 hours prior to your arrival date and time.

Deposits/Confirmation:

In order to confirm a room assignment for your room reservation, you will be required to provide the hotel one (1) night’s deposit, refundable up to 48 hours in advance of your date of arrival. Checks and major credit cards are acceptable to establish prepayment. All credit cards used to prepay will be charged immediately.

*All guests arriving prior to 3:00pm will be accommodated as rooms become available.

Early Departure Fee:

In the event you have registered with the hotel and decide to check out prior to your reserved checkout date, the hotel will add an early checkout fee of $50.00US to your individual hotel account. To avoid an early checkout fee you must advise the hotel at or before check-in of any change in your planned length of stay.

Please note that discount seats are limited and that some restrictions do apply on all fares, so call early for best choice and availability. Fares are guaranteed only at time of ticket purchase. If you purchase tickets from a local travel agent, be sure that your travel agent contacts the appropriate Airline Convention Desk and provides the IEEE 802 file number. Your travel agent will still receive the normal commission, and you will receive a more cost-effective fare.
