About SICAP
The Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) is the government's new social inclusion programme and it seeks to target the most disadvantaged communities and individuals in each county. The programme has 3 Goals that focus on Supporting Disadvantaged Communities, Education and Employment. The Department of Community, Environment and Local Government expect referral of clients from other state agencies into SICAP and referral from SICAP to other agencies to be part of the programme.
The Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) 2015 – 2017 is funded by the Irish Government and co-funded by the European Social Fund and includes a special allocation under the Youth Employment Initiative.
Education Information Sessions
To inform clients of training courses and support services available in County Monaghan through promotion of MN Training APP and other SICAP/Non-SICAP Services. Clients will be offered one to one personal action planning sessions. Each Session will run from 10am-11am at the various locations

NEET Camps
2 week Programmeto assist unemployed people ‘Under 25’ to address life issues that may be affecting them entering further education and/or employment. Each Session will run from 10am-1pm in two locations.

Life Coaching

Job Quest - Resilience for Work
Job Quest will assist clients in becoming resilient within the job market. The session will include searching for employment, conducting interviews and bouncing back from an unsuccessful application. The importance of remaining positive and resilient will be key aspects of learning on the Programme.
Each Session will run from 10am-12pm at the various locations
