4 September 2006 /The 2006 UDIA NSW Awards for Excellence Winners
The Urban Development Institute of Australia NSW (UDIA NSW) was pleased to announce the winners of their 2006NSW Awards for Excellence at their gala dinner on Friday 1 September. The Awards are a high profile annual program that recognises and rewards excellence within the urban development industry.
“The winners of the 2006 Awards have clearly demonstrated their energy, innovation and professionalism in producing solutions to people’s housing needs and desires”, said UDIA NSW President, Ralph Bruce.
“Attention to design detail in engineering, urban design, landscaping and architecture is now apparent across the development industry. Developers are taking more control of the built form via the increasing use of design guidelines, joint venturing with builders, or becoming builders themselves. The winners have distinguished themselves by achieving incredibly high standards across their projects.
