If you child is in 3rd grade orchestra and chorus, s/he should get tuned with Mrs. Handfinger first, place the instrument back in their case in the wing and go warm up with Mrs. Eisenman. She will dismiss students back to orchestra about ten minutes before the concert begins. When we are finished playing, chorus members will put their instrument in their case and go down to sing. The rest of the orchestra will go sit in the back of the auditorium. This is a process that we use every year and we will go over all of this in class.
Students will be sitting in the audience to watch and support their fellow musician when they are not performing. At the end of the concert we will be returning to our cases. If you child is in chorus or a cello, you may meet them by the stage. All other parents should meet their child in the hallway where the cases were left. The entire concert should last approximately 45 minutes so please plan on staying the entire time.
Please make sure your child brings his/her instrument and music home to take to the concert.Pine Road will not be open to retrieve any instruments. Cellos will need to bring their home cello to the concert. I will have some slip stops there if you do not have one.
Please email me if you have any questions,
Mrs. Handfinger ()
