Development Assistant – Home Ownership

Responsible to: Home Ownership, Team Leader

Purpose:

To provide the main contact for all new homes enquiries

Main Responsibilities:

1.  To act as the first point of contact for all new homes enquiries via meetings, telephone, email, dedicated website and social media. To conduct viewings of properties where and when required on all project sites and manage and maintain a diary of all appointments.

2.  To administer and record all enquiries received and provide sales particulars, brochures and sales information where and when requested. Also to liaise with team members, Melin staff and external partners to seek and provide any specific sales or technical information to enquiries where and when required.

3.  To maintain an appropriate administration system in order to monitor and report on all enquires received and provide an accurate and current sales report on all project sites on an agreed regular basis.

4.  To process sales and intermediate rent enquiries and work with the Home Ownership Team in the administration of all Low Cost Home Ownership sales and intermediate lettings. Also to assist the Team in processing the Mortgage Rescue Scheme.

5.  To assist in the preparation and production of all sales documentation, brochures, technical packs and associated documents where and when required.

6.  To assist in the gathering and monitoring of customer satisfaction for services provided by the department plus associated performance information Also to assist in the administration and monitoring of repairs within the new build defects period.

7.  To liaise with the Finance Department regarding funding and payments received.

8.  To assist in all site openings where and when required.

9.  To assist in market research and identifying housing need on appropriate new projects.

10.  To assist in arranging and also to attend project, Team and Departmental meetings where and when requested.

11.  Carry out any reasonable duties as required by the Director of Development and department managers as and when required.
