“Driving Surrey Cricket from the Ground up”

The Surrey Cricket Groundsman’s Association is staging its Annual Seminar at the Kia Oval onThursday 13th March 2014. The seminar is open to full and part time groundsman from schools, clubs, local authorities or anyone who has an interest in groundmanship.

The day will feature various presentations including the SCGA AGM and Lunch. Presentations for the day will last approximately 30 minutes and will allow time for any questions. The seminar so far looks as follows:

  • Dr Iain James – Technical Director for TGMS
  • Henry Bechelet – Technical Sales Manager for Everris
  • Tony Pigott (ex Sussex, Surrey & England) – ECB Pitch Inspector
  • John Dodwell – County Pitch Adviser
  • The Kia Oval - Practical Demonstrations

All delegates are encouraged to use public transport travelling to The KIA Oval, as parking is restricted. As part of the Surrey CCC Spectator & Visitor Travel Plan a levy will be charged if you require parking.

  1. . If a candidate cannot attend the course they have booked onto for any reason they must contact Surrey Cricket 3 full working days before the course starts on 0207 820 5684 or via e-mail on . If Surrey Cricket is able to re-allocate the place before the course starts a full refund will be given. However, if it is not possible to fill the place no refund will be given.
