Dear Parents/Guardians,

The Roosevelt School is excited to implement a before and after school program for the school year 2014-2015 at Lower Campus.

The program will begin on Monday, September 8, 2014 and will run till the end of school year. The before and after school program will not be in session when the Boston Public Schools are closed (this includes snow days) and the afterschool program will not be open on half days of school.

Before schools hours will be from 7:30-8:15 AM. Before school time will provide children with opportunities to be engaged in a variety of activities, all while being supervised by Roosevelt School staff members.

After school hours will take place from 2:30-5:00 PM (Dismissal will be from 4:45-5 PM). After school time will provide enrichment opportunities including: homework help, arts and crafts, technology and seasonal special activities, along with a snack being provided.

Registration/Payment Process:

If you are interested in signing up your child, please complete a registration form. Registration forms need to be submitted before your child starts either or both programs.

Before School: The cost per day/per child is $5.00.

After School: The cost per day/per child is $17.00.

Once your child is registered, he/she can attend on the days your family needs. For before school, you will need to sign your child in on the days he/she attend and provide payment on that day. We will work with you to set up an afternoon schedule for your child.

Payment is required in cash, bank check or money orders; personal checks are not accepted. Payment is expected before or on the day that your child will be attending. Pre-payment is allowed and welcomed. If we do not receive payment, a bill will be sent home and it is expected that payment will be received within 2 days. Failure to make regular payments may jeopardize your child’s placement.
