DATE…………………………..Saturday and Sunday, August 11th and 12th, 2018.
FIELD LIMIT…………………..The first 200 paid entries received. All others will be put on a stand by list.
EVENT…………36 Holes – Stroke Play – 18 Holes Saturday and Sunday - 10 Flights Maximum
All players will be flighted using Saturdays scores. Flights will be determined by the
Tournament Committee, depending on the number of entries. All players will compete in flights on Sunday. If there is a Senior Flight, itwill playedin the a.m. Open Flights will play immediately after the Senior Flights. Tee times for Sunday will be posted by 10 p.m. Saturday. Open Flights will play from the NMO tees on Saturday and Sunday. Senior Flights will play from the Silver Tees. There will be a Senior Divison if we get 50 golfers to sign-up ahead of time. If there is not enough golfers for a Senior Division, Seniors over 65 will still be able to golf from the Senior Tees, but will be flighted according to their score. Any player shooting 7 to 9 shots better on Sunday will be moved one flight higher, 10 and above shots better will move two flights higher.All ties other than 1st place for championship flight in the Open Division will be determined by a playoff on the score card starting with the 1st hole. Playoff Championship Flight starting at hole #7.
ENTRY FEE…………………Non-Members - $125, Members - $90,Open Division Defending championcomplimentary,
covers all tournament play, plus a practice round on Friday, August 10th. Over $5,000 in cash andmerchandise for flight prizes. Special gift for each contestant.
ELIGIBILITY………………..Entries are open to male and female amateur and professional golfers who have reached
their 16th birthday by midnight of August 10th, 2018. Entries are subject to approval or
rejection by the tournament committee.
LONG DRIVE CONTEST……There will be a Long Drive Contest Friday evening at 5:00 p.m. NMO participants only.
DEADLINE FOR ENTRY…….Entries must be received by 5:00 p.m., July 26th, 2018. All entries will be on a first
come first serve basis. First 200 paid entries will comprise the field; all others will be put on standby list.
FOOD………………………....Continental breakfast will be available each morning. Meal buffet during Saturday is
included in entry fee. Sunday – Lunch & Dinner Specials will be for sale. Meal ticket issued atcheck in.
CANCELLATION…………..No refunds will be made after July 26th. In case play is totally cancelled due to weather
conditions either Saturday or Sunday, scores already posted will determine winners. A
rain check will be issued. Due to the popularity of this event, Sunday no-shows will not be tolerated without sufficient cause.
***REMINDER*** There will be a $25 fee for any golfer that drops out of the Northern Michigan Open
After July 25th.
RAIN DELAY………………If weather conditions delays play the tournament committee will do its best to have
flights complete at least 9 holes.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Starting times will be returned to you by mail. If you do not receive your starting time
By July 31st, contact the club. Starting times for Friday’s practice round may be reserved by calling the club, (231) 627-4264.

All entries for that foursome must be received at the Cheboygan Golf & Country Club at the same time with the group’s paid entry fees.Tournament Committee will do its best to honor requests for Saturday’s round, but cannot guarantee unless entries received as stated above.
