Did you know the 1st Saturday of May is Free Comic Book Day? We're celebrating that, and the announcement of our own Comic Fest, by giving away one free comic per student in the library this morning as long as our supplies last. Come to the library to pick a comic of your very own!
HMS’s Community Service Club is asking you to help protect the environment by recycling cell phones, iPods & MP3 players, cell phone batteries & chargers, PDAs, digital cameras, tablets, Bluetooth, accessories and ink/toner cartridges that are no bigger than the size of the palm of your hand. Bring your old gadgets to the Middle School Library all week.
Attention members of the 7th & 8th Grade String Orchestra. The Spring Concert is this Thursday evening. You need to take your instrument home on Wednesday since the concert is at the High School. Call time is 6:50. See Mr. Brennan if you have any questions.
Are you ready for the Haverford Kid's Comic Fest? There will be 17 different comic authors spread around HMS on Saturday, May 21st. We'll be spending the day playing games, doing workshops, and talking to these talented men and women. If you'd like a day of fun, consider coming by. This is a donation-based event, so you can pay what you want to come in. The first 300 students get a special Comic Fest grab bag. If you have questions, go pester Ms. Hay. Hope you'll join us!
