Fabrics:
Pick out your fabrics and label them with the bag number, or put them in if they fit. See Booklet 1, P. 10 for colors and unit names. Put fabric swatches on Pages 6, 7 and 8 of Booklet 1.
Sewing Papers and Templates:
Rough-cut the templates and sewing papers for at least Booklet 2 (NP-172, NP-173, NP-174, TP-71). This means to cut 1/8 to ¼ of an inch outside of the outer cutting line of the sections. Place the papers in the corresponding plastic bags. If you get confused, just bring the papers to class and we can go over it.
Cutting:
If you’d like to cut before class, you can go to Booklet 2, P. 4 and start cutting for Unit B. You should have one background color and one or two colors for the accent spikes.
You can also do the cutting for Units C and D (the Spokes) if you know what your color layout will be. We will spend some time in class going over the options for the spokes.
If you have questions prior to class, call Mt. Pleasant at 585-243-0767.
