-Updated the Committee on the progress of the Cranberry Portage water treatment.
-John answered questions in regards to the filtration system we have to install for our water.
-Gordon Fidierchuk and John left the meeting at 7:45 P.M.
- Town Foreman’s Report
-Attached.
-Committee had concerns with flushing water lines – will not happen till July
-Queried why the Haul-All truck went to FlinFlon Friday afternoon during spring clean up week – engine light was on
-Queried clean up of Industrial lot – will contact purchaser about putting the junk to the side till fall so he can still build this summer
-Discussed building up dike at Lagoon – Will contact Anderson’s Logging and Blue Ox for a quote
-Discussed seat for grader (used - $600.00, new - $1400.00) Committee suggested to contact Maurice Beauchamp
-Discussed inventory for water and sewer – Committee suggested an inventory be done
-Committee felt a community mailing should be mailed out explaining to the residents why they have less water pressure and little discoloration

Be it resolved that the LUD Committee of Cranberry Portage recommends to the R.M. of Kelsey to approve payment of the May 2013 General Accounts for Cranberry Portage as submitted totaling $19,587.29.

- WDS Keys – Committee discussed concerns with keys for the waste disposal site. Another five keys have been purchased.
- Summer Student Interviews – Committee set June 13, 2013 for interviews beginning at 4:30 P.M. Debbie McLauchlan, Tiffany Anderson and Darcy Rajczakowski will be the interviewers. Copies of resume’s and interview sheets will be given to each of the interviewers.

- Elementary Citizenship Award – Resolution No. 60/13

Be it resolved that the LUD Committee of Cranberry Portage recommends to the R.M. of Kelsey to approve donating $50.00 towards the purchase of the Cranberry Portage Elementary Citizenship Award. Presenting this award will be Debbie McLauchlan.

Debbie McLauchlan – Sara Anderson won the bike from the Bike Rodeo. Don’t pay for invoice as she is trading it in for a larger bike. Will submit invoice once the exchange has been made.
Jack Brown – Suggested including the Garbage Collection Bylaw in the next newsletter.

- Presented the Committee with road report from town foreman, will forward to Gordon Fidierchuk along with the agreement for Thompson Drive.
