Additional Information about our Playschemes
We have capacity for 25 young people each day and the playscheme is run by a playscheme leader, a deputy and a team of experienced staff members and volunteers.
The playscheme will be taking place at The Vinery Centre which is a modern purpose built building that is all on one level with a changing places toilet. We have two large activity rooms equipped with a pool and air hockey table, game consoles and a variety of games and resources. We also have our own soft play area, a sensory room and an outdoor space with a bike track and climbing frame.
We have given each day of playscheme a broad theme and will be running a variety of themed group activities. We will also have several guests running exciting workshops throughout the week. Young people will also have the choice to pick individual activities that suit their likes and interests each day.
On the Thursday we will be having a trip to the Easter Adventure at Stockeld Park. Unfortunately our funding does not cover trip costs and so there will be an additional charge of £15 on this day to help cover the cost of admission for children and to contribute towards the cost of transport.
If you have any queries or want to discuss if our playscheme is appropriate for your child please contact Gemma Airey (Activity Co-ordinator) for more information on 0113 235 1331.
