Scenario
While studying for your BTEC Nationals, you have been asked to provide some material for the college Wiki called ‘All about programming’. This resource aims to help people who want to learn programming and provides access to a wide range of information related to programming
Task 1
The website editor has asked you to provide a short presentation that will explain the key features of event driven programming. You must describe the features clearly and logically. You must also give reasons why triggers and timing are important. Your presentation should be no more than 10 slides. You do not have to present your presentation.

Task 2
Create a presentation that will demonstrate that you are able to use event driven programming tools and techniques. Your presentation will be presented in front of the class. You may make use of animation in the presentation to assist in any descriptions or complex routines you would like to discuss. Your presentation must not be more than 4 minutes and not less than 2 minutes. This will be assessed by witness statement.

Task 3
You are familiar with Windows 8, Windows 7 or Linux as an operating system. In a presentation of no more than 5 slides, discuss how an operating system can be seen as an event driven application.

Task 4
In class you converted an event driven application into a command line application. Design a single-side A4 leaflet that will explain to your website editor why it makes more sense to use the event driven calculator instead of the command line interface calculator. Make use of images to explain your decisions.
