Membership report-

Our lodge currently has 673 active members 84 of those members are in kiskiack, 166 Nansemond, 60 Nottoway, 66 Pamunkey, 78 Piankatank, and 219 Wicomico. The Ordeal to brotherhood conversion rate is at 22.58%.

Officer reports-

Chapter reports-

Kiskiack Chapter-

25 people attended last meeting. We held an election for troop 242, and successful planning for the 100th anniversaryevent in July.

Nansmond Chapter-

Now pre ordering 100thanniversary patches for chapter $15 each

Nottawaway chapter –

We have completed a few crossovers for packs, currently planning a day of service for the cheroenhaka Nottoway tribe, and also we will be making a plaque for the hurricane base at camp.

Pamunky chapter-

We will be doing a tap out ceremony for troop 29 on July 27th. We will also be building a picnic table forBayport.

Piankatank chapter-

All elections are at 100%.

Wicomico Chapter-

Held aMeeting on June 4th, we alsohelped out at relay for life and 14 members attended.Next meeting is on august 6th

NOAC 2015-

Next meeting will be onJuly 25th at Newport News Park, more details will come in the next few weeks. 2 months to go!

Old Business-

Spring service weekend-

With the amount of people at the spring service weekend we got all tents and set up and brush by the road was burned.

Lodge Program Meeting-

May 30thwe held a lodge program meeting, we had reasonable attendance. We discussed our goals of where we want to take the lodge. If you have any goal ideas please send them to Rhys by June 27th.

Arrow tour-

Will be held at camp t Brady Saunders on June 30th at 3pm. Food will be provided from the $6-$10 price range. Pre register at . Troops, crews, packs, family members are all welcome.

100th anniversary event-

Will be held onJuly 11th at the Mariner Museum at 3pm. Activities include: giant jingo game, corn hole, horse shoe, ultimate Frisbee, AIA, and lawn darts. Dinner will be available for approximately $15, still not a definite price. OA rededication ceremony 8:00pm.

Post summer camp clean up-

Will be held on the 8th of august at Bayport Scout Reservation, and will count as a beaver day. All troops, crews and OA members are welcome to attend.

Bayport bash-

Will be held on August 14th-15th.Each chapter will be responsible for a 1 hour training session in the morning. Make up a relay team for the afternoon competitions.

Summer service weekend-

Will be held on September 11th-13th at camp, we will finish breaking down summer camp and prepping camp for the winter.

Winter banquet-

Will be on December 12th and hosted by Nottaway Chapter.

Vigil nominations/ awards-

Turn in vigil nominationsby August 15th. Founders’ awardnominations are due by September 30th. Vigil selection will be on August 22nd or 29th of August.

PamunkyKiskiack merge update-

We will be conducting the merge in May 2016. As of now we are still trying to figure out a name for the chapter.

OA camp coordinator-

No one has stepped up to be an OA camp coordinator. You will be responsible for Conducting the ice cream social, tap out ceremonies and any other task the camp gives you.

New business-

Nottaway tribe assistance- After talking with the chief we will possibly set a day sometime in July. Also a Lodge day of service is in the works for the near future.

Brotherhood ceremony-

On July 15th the brotherhood team will be conducting a ceremony up at Bayport. If you are an Ordeal member and eligible for Brotherhood contact Mr. Cassell.

Busy Beaver Challenge-

Each chapter will be responsible for building a table for Bayport, please see David Singletary for specifications.
