Biostatistics Paper: Evolution

Your paper should include an introduction section with a proper header describing (1-2 para):

What is evolution? And what is reproductive fitness?

What pressures cause them?

What kind of time-frame does evolution occur in?

What is the molecular clock technique? What are its pros and cons (statistically)?

The next section is your discussion section (make sure there is a header that says discussion). Using proper MLA format and in-text citations from Google scholar (at least 6 para):

Beginning with deep geological time (billions of years ago) describe how cells led to organisms and how organisms evolved. You do not have to cover individual species but 2-3 examples of them may be useful.

Coming to homonids, describe the relationship between Homo sapiens and Homo neanderthalenesis. How did they co-exist, who survived, are neanderthals still around? And if so how.

Focusing solely on Homo sapiens, describe migration patterns. Pick one maternal haplogroup and one paternal haplogroup to focus on. How did migrations affect human diversity? Who is Y-Chromosomal Adam and who is mitochondrial Eve? Is the Out-of-Africa hypothesis or the Multi-Regional hypothesis more plausible?

The last section is a conclusion section (make sure there is a proper header). Use citations if needed but this should be no more than 2 para:

Based on your findings summarize how statistically similar we are as humans. Human to other animals? Humans to all living things?

What do your findings indicate about the concepts of "Race" or "Ethnicity", what are these? Briefly describe how culturally diverse humans are in these respects.
